Carlos Alcaraz Has A Diverse Opinion To Novak Djokovic As He Makes Five-Word Statement

Carlos Alcaraz is one of the dominant forces in men’s tennis, but his approach to the game differs significantly from that of 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic.

Carlos Alcaraz’s relaxed diet method is quite different from that of legendary tennis star Novak Djokovic. Young Spaniard Alcaraz has become one of the gold-standard players in men’s tennis over the past year.

He won his second Wimbledon title this summer, making it four Grand Slam titles at the age of 21. Djokovic, his opponent in the center court final, has lost the major tournament two years in a row.

Despite his impressive gold-winning performance at the Paris Olympics, he often struggles to beat younger opponents when they meet on the ATP Tour. But the pair have very different stances when it comes to diet, with Alcaraz’s carefree approach contesting a very strict regiment enforced by the 37-year-old Serbian.

“I don’t have any restrictions,” Alcaraz revealed to ATP. “Whatever I want, I eat it. I try to take care of myself a lot, but if something I like comes along, I’m happy to eat it. There are people who are inhibited by some foods, but I am not.

“I eat a lot of pasta, which is good for an athlete. And I’m lucky that I eat a lot, but I don’t gain much weight in terms of fat. I also eat a lot of salad and rice.”

Djokovic, on the other hand, went through several phases of dieting in early 2010 after seeing a doctor and discovering he was gluten intolerant. The Serbian icon wiped out gluten from her diet and detailed what and when she eats.
