Recently, there have been rumors that Vinicius Junior has been linked with a surprise move to Chelsea. Despite an outstanding season in which he was tipped to win the Ballon d’Or, Rodri shockingly edged him to win the award.
Vinicius has fueled transfer speculation by currently refusing to negotiate a new contract with the Madrid giants.
His current contract ties him to the Santiago Bernabeu until 2027, but his reluctance to extend has raised concerns among several European powers, with Chelsea also interested.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have not shown the possibility of signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid next year.
The Blues could be interested but reports suggest they are not committed to completing an ambitious move anytime soon.
